Witholding Nothing -William McDowell

Witholding Nothing is a new single by William McDowell. He is a Gospel and praise & worship artist who grew up in Ohio. He started playing piano by the age of five, and by 13 he was playing drums for his church,  playing organ in the church at the age of 16, and he began leading his own worship sessions by the time he was 18. He relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2001, where he began serving as music director and keyboardist for Ron Kenoly. Two years later in 2003, McDowell opened his own recording studio, The Delivery Room, and tracked his debut album, The Reason I Live, there. In 2006 he accepted a worship leader position at the Gathering Place in Lake Mary, Florida, and a year later he was ordained as a pastor there. McDowell issued an ambitious two-CD set, As We Worship Live, in 2009. His second album "Arise" was recorded live on 10th of December 2010.

Snippets from Sinach Live concert @ Houston

History was made  on September 21 as the world renown worship leader,and award winning gospel artiste Sinach ministered at the concert in Houston, Texas.
"I know who I am", "I stand amazed" , "Dance in the Holy Ghost " and some other songs written  by her were sung at the concert. It was a glorious event marked with the awesome presence of the Most High God.

Worship

Worship is giving reverence to God. To show love and respect for God . It is about  giving due glory or worth to Him.
Our obedience to God can also be an act of worship to Him. Prompt obedience to His leading and His word shows that we reverence Him. It shows that we honor Him. Worship is not  just about music, though it is a  means through which we express our love and reverence to God.  "Praise Him with  the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the psaltery and harp". Psalm 150:3
 God wants our genuine worship. He wants us to worship Him without thinking about what others will say while we worship. Lifting up our hands, calling Him by His awesome names.He wants us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. "But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him". John 4:23. You don't have to worry about what the next person by your side in church thinks about your way of worship during the praise and worship session. You don't have to be shy or ashamed of singing your heart out to worship Him. Just do it! ...Yes! give Him all the praise due Him but remember, you may find it a little bit hard to connect while others are in the midst of worship  during the service because you did not even remember to sing praises to Him in your closet Monday through Saturday. You actually remembered that you need to thank God for the week probably when the worship session was about to start on Sunday morning. Let worship be your lifestyle and dare to be an unstoppable worshiper.

Australian Darlene Zschech is  a singer, songwriter, worship leader and speaker. She was  involved in the music ministry department of Hillsong Church, Sydney for 25 years. Though she has achieved numerous gold albums and her songs are sung in many nations of the world, her success simply stands as a testimony to her life’s passion to serve God and people with all her heart. Darlene along side her husband Mark are the Senior Pastors of Hope Unlimited Church on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

As a songwriter, Darlene is perhaps most famous for the chorus “Shout to the Lord,” which was nominated as Album of the Year for the 1997 Dove Awards and was nominated as Song of the Year for the 1998 Dove Awards. In 2000 Darlene received a Dove Award nomination for Songwriter of the Year and received the International Award for influence in praise and worship.Darlene Zschech is one of my mentors in music ministry, though I have not met her in person, God has used her to inspire me in many ways through her songs and  teachings  ; I'm sure she is  a blessing to you too.

Tasha Lockhart

Tasha Lockhart is the winner of this year's Sunday Best. She will receive a national recording contract with Fo Yo Soul Entertainment, a cash prize and a 2013 Ford Fusion.
On the final show, Wess Morgan sang his single "You Paid it All", other performances were from artistes like Mali Music, "Ready Aim", Tamela Mann also sang "Take Me to the King". Cece Winans sang "More" and Israel Houghton sang "No Turning Back".
The two finalists Kefia and Tasha also sang. Kefia sang " How Great is Our God " by Chris Tomlin and Tasha  sang "You Bring Out the Best in Me" by Vanessa Bell Amstrong.
Tasha Lockhart was finally announced to be Season 6 Sunday Best winner and she ended the show with the song "United by Faith". It was an amazing and competitive journey for all the contestants, especially for Kefia and Tasha because both of them are anointed and powerful singers.

I encourage you to keep working on your goals, visions and aspirations for 2013.  It shall not die,Your VISION shall not die, You will make it. God has not forgotten you, He has scribbled you on the palms of His hands and your walls are continually before Him.
God has never failed and He won't start now. Let us keep looking unto Him, JESUS, THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH  .Heb12:2
